Why should I have to text Jacquelene after making a booking? Why aren't appointments confirmed by email? Why aren't bookings confirmed how I want in my specific, individual case?
Why is your mobile number important for your booking?
To keep processes realistic, clear, organised, and simple as possible, Jacquelene has determined that for now, you providing a correct and contactable mobile number remains a requirement for your appointment to proceed, especially if your appointment is via phone.
If you're having a phone appointment on your mobile phone, providing and confirming the correct mobile number is 100% essential for that.
Or, let's say you're having an in person appointment, and you're running late, or are lost, or if there is some other issue before or at your appointment time. You need to be contactable via phone, and text.

Email alone isn't efficient or sufficient for any of those scenarios.
It is a logical step, therefore, to ask you to send a text to Jacquelene to confirm your mobile number, after you make your booking, so that Jacquelene can verify that she is contacting the right number and right person with your appointment details before sending your confirmation out. |
If you think about it, plenty of other service providers also do this. But why?
It is a method of protecting your privacy, because confirming your correct number means we are not sending your appointment details to someone neither of us knows because of a wrongly keyed mobile number when you booked online.
This is also a fail safe, just in case you're one of the smaller - but existing - percentage of people whose made a booking online, but entered the incorrect number while doing so, or you are texting from one number Jacquelene can't text you back on whether you accidentally blocked her number or are using a masked messaging service to text from which can't be replied to directly, yet you expect your calls and texts to be to an entirely different number, at the time of your booking despite not replying or not supplying Jacquelene with that correct when booking.
May be you didn't enter your full correct number including country code when you entered your number, and are in a different country than the one you put as your country when you made the booking ... Yes, that really does happen.
Some of these examples are why a very small percentage of people didn't get their confirmation text message from Jacquelene before their appointment time or why they haven't received a call yet for their booking at their appointment time.
So, please send a text or whatsapp message to make this a whole lot easier. Thanks in advance...
Jacquelene does endeavour to make contact with clients by other means where these sorts of things happen, but this can delay your appointment, and the whole thing is usually completely avoided by just one text or whatsapp message from you with your appointment time, date, and your first name, and making sure you keep the contact number you gave open and available to be replied to and contacted on.
If you want your booking via video call and haven't received or followed the instructions in the confirmation text, this can cut into your appointment time, especially if you also suddenly decide to down load a different platform, don't how to use that platform, and suddenly decide you want to record it, despite not having tested that out at home yourself before your booking. This gets in the way of you enjoying your full booked time for all that it can be.
If these sorts of things happen during the appointment, Jacquelene will try to be understanding, and try to accommodate you to a point, but may be working on a time limit which means she might need to reconvene your booking, as relevant to the individual circumstances and situation.
Jacquelene also reserves the right to decline to proceed with a client at times. Jacquelene rarely does this, but she reserves the right to end an appointment and refund, or cancel and refund where the situation warrants it, after careful and due consideration according to the circumstance.
Thanks for your time, and interest,
