Do you believe in god?
While not a frequently asked question, as this does get asked so it is important to answer. In order to do readings, one needs to connect to the God-force or as some say "The universe." We have studied a wide variety of religions and philosophies and come from a point of respect for each client's personal religious, cultural, and spiritual beliefs. We do not at any time seek to convert you away from your beliefs or to necessarily take on ours, and our readings are done in a manner to as much as possible ensure the respect of your individual beliefs.

How effective are readings on the phone?
Jacquelene has a large number of clients who phone her from around Australia and around the world to have their phone readings. These clients repeat and refer friends, relatives and loved ones who also call from around the world for their readings and return also Phone readings are just as effective if not more effective than face to face readings as the caller must listen to their reading in order to take the guidance given on board and properly assimilate it. The psychic is also not distracted by the changing facial expressions of the client and does not have to be immersed in the client's energy in order to give the reading. In some rare cases Jacquelene will only agree to consult some clients by phone where there is that need.

Jacquelene is a practised and experienced at medium readings. While she does appear at parties and events and provide readings she does not do medium readings in that kind of entertainment based environment.

How Jacquelene works:-

Jacquelene offers no guarantees, and looks for proof that a connection has been made with the passed over spirit and where no connection is made, no fee is charged, and you leave without obligation of any kind whatsoever. All care is taken but she does not seek to control the whereabouts of a passed over being who the client seeks contact with. Thus, so you understand, if she senses the passed over soul's presence at the time of the reading, she can read convey for you, but if they are not present she cannot. It may be however that their message can be conveyed through another means. You should bring a photo of the person. Photos tend to work extremely well for me to facilitate this style of reading. However Jacquelene asks not to look at the photo immediately and instead seek to convey who is present at the time without photos.

A spirit present at the time may be the passed over loved one, or may be another passed over being or spirit who can convey for the passed over person in cases where the sought soul still is in a healing process after passing over. Once a connection is established Jacquelene will ask to see the photo for her own check and feelings of safety and to decide whether to pursue the energy connection further. It is simply a check off method of knowing you are heading in the right direction that she does regardless of how many years she has been doing this professionally.

Jacquelene has a strong belief in the reason that the single most popular phrase on tombstones is "rest in peace" as she herself had a near death experience in a drowning accident as a young child. Therefore any contact she makes with the passed over loved ones for a client is from a space of respect, dignity, and ensuring that peace is the goal for all involved in the appointment-whether living in body or in spirit.
She also has empathy for those surviving family members who must deal with the grief that transitions can raise in them.

Because of this when Jacquelene works in a medium reading she is looking to achieve where possible two things:-
1. Help the passed over spirit to progress onward into the light.
2. Help the surviving family member to find relief, peace, acceptance, and closure.

This means that once a spirit has passed into the light they will only return to visit the person in a light energy. Therefore, once this happens, the matters surrounding wanting medium readings about that person should have been resolved and complete. This means the matter of that passed over loved one should not require revisiting with numerous mediums, or numerous readings. All things should be done in moderation. Where you cannot let go and you seek repetitive readings regards a passed over loved one, you are encouraged to seek ongoing professional counselling so that you can progress more positively. Your ability to move on allows the spirit and soul of the passed over loved one to do the same and once passed into the light they will only appear when they have a specific message they urgently need to convey for your safety of life direction. It is important to the soul growth of the passed over loved one as well as your own to be able to move forward and to seek to do so. Answers, healing, and enjoyment of life dwell in the present not obtainable by in remaining in the past.

Jacquelene has greater success with passed over loved ones when either it is:-

* within 40 days of their passing or

* not again until at least 1 year after passing.

"Because of my cultural background and training we believe that the soul of the passed over loved one needs time to heal in between those times.

I also respect all beings, passed, present and future very much. Therefore I prefer that readings with the passed over loved one for those left behind are done rarely and certainly for guidance purposes and not entertainment. Circumstances such as guidance, closure, release, and moving on I feel are relevant, where help with grief and closure is the focus of the appointment, allowing for the phrase "rest in peace."

All bookings need to be made via phone as our appointment diary availability changes too frequently to allow for emails to and fro. A non-refundable booking deposit of $30 is also required via credit card or money order posted out to us to secure the appointment. Fees are $150 for one hour, (minus deposit paid).

Seances While Jacquelene's heart always goes out to people who have someone who has just passed over, she does not recommend nor provide seances.

CBD Bookings
Melbourne CBD:***- Melbourne CBD bookings: A credit card or money order pre payment for your appointment in Melbourne CBD is now required to secure your appointment space. While constricting and unfortunate, this is the new procedure due specifically to a small minority of unreliable new clients and the rising costs associated with the hire of the CBD meeting room, which we pay for by the hour. This fee is non refundable because the associated costs must still be paid for. If for any reason we must cancel however, you may either reschedule or your paid fee is refunded without question.

All other major capitols: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your appointment space, this deposit is non refundable except in extreme circumstances.

I've had lots of other readings about (this) from other people what can you see?
Please avoid becoming addicted to psychics, or using this as a form of entertainment.
We do party bookings which are for entertainment, but one to one hourly appointments are not intended for party or entertainment purposes.
You cannot change an outcome of any event in your life simply by increasing the number of readings you have, but by having too many readings in short succession or going to too many different psychics you can start to confuse your energy which the psychics are reading from. In fact the more readings you have in a short space of time or with ore different readers reading for you, the more jumbled up you and the readings you receive will start to become, and the more you can negatively effect your own energy through confusion from having received too much guidance. This is why we suggest you have readings no more than once every six to twelve months unless there is dramatic changes that you are creating and wish to discuss, or other topics you wish to look at. You will also find it more helpful to return to the same reader that you are happy with (no matter who they are) as this kind of rapport is incredibly personal and should be honoured as it is a connection of souls and not all that easily found, it's not just like buying fruit and vegetables at the local supplier in whatever shopping centre you happened upon today.

You must take the responsibility for your life into your own hands and run with it. We also avoid telling you something will happen simply because it was what you wanted to hear.

Our readings style continually evolves as we do, and we read according to the manner in which we are best to provide the individual client with their reading.
We continually take on new learning as well as researching what energies are present each year and how that effects people according to a wide variety of energies and influences.

How accurate are the readings?
The first couple of minutes of our readings are a character and energy reading which is given freely, and without any information from you except your first name and date of birth. This is done to show that we have tuned into you accurately. From there we can cover any topic or area you would like, and you can ask specific questions or just go with the flow depending on how you would like to proceed. We however in no way profess to take control of your life for you. You have the ultimate choice and free will to change the course of events in your life through your own decisions and actions. You only get out of anything that which you put in. We do not require loads of information about your situation, usually we will tune in straight away without any detail, however please note that we can only be as accurate as your are honest. Your destiny is within your control, what attitudes, behaviours, and actions you choose to utilise after your reading are your choice and will bear their own results independent of any reading you have.

When is the earliest I can return?
Short term intuitive counselling - long term benefits
In some cases a few regular appointments can help the client gain a clearer perspective about their life's direction if they are using the sessions as a form of intuitive counselling and empowerment.

Business clients
Business clients can return as often as needed where guidance is desired for new deals, proposals, clients, investments, stocks, shares, executive hiring or staff movements.

Private clients
Most private or individual clients should not return to a psychic until at least 6 to 12 months from the last reading or unless there is a matter of urgency, or if a lot has happened since the last reading that you'd like clarification about.

I have more questions, can I call and ask?
Feel free to book another appointment.
We do not answer questions outside of reading time, we have trained ourselves to immediately forget the details of your reading except in extreme and destined circumstances. If you have further questions than your booked time allowed, please either ask to extend the reading, or book another appointment. Extending the reading can at times be done depending on our other commitments. Extending a reading will incur an extra fee, this fee is higher per half hour than your original hour.

What is the longest reading I can have?
A lot if discussed in one hour. What has guidance has been provided in that time requires time in order to be fully digested before seeking more.

You must get tired doing this?
We are professionally trained and experienced, and we avoid taking bookings or client on board that are low in energy.

...and do you need a break between clients?
We manage our energy and time as appropriate to ensure we are fresh and ready to consult each client.

Answer:- With each client individually, we read using the method we feel guided to utilize as appropriate to the client we have in front of us. Some clients need an energy clearing before we start, this is provided as part of the service should you need it. Why not check our About us page to see how we work.

Question "I am interested in getting a reading...But I would like someone who doesn't need aids like eg tarot cards to get messages.
Is this something you can offer me?"

Answer:- A hilarious but true tale - and with a moral too!! Funny enough about this question, Jacquelene once had a booking of three women who came to see her for readings, how it went was not as planned, but exactly as was clearly needed. After all of their readings were done the ladies said that all the way to Jacquelene's office that one of them had jibbed repeatedly over the approximately 1 hour car trip "I hate tarot cards, she better not use them in my reading...I don't think people who read with tarot cards are genuine, they shouldn't need tools like that so I'll know if she is any good." All the while her two friends replied over and again that they 'were not at all bothered by this prospect' asking her why was it an issue for her, not really feeling she was hearing them.

The ladies then arrived at Jacquelene's office. Jacquelene - who had not been told by the ladies of their conversation on the way to her office - started by insisting that she complete readings for the first two ladies (who had said they had no problem with tarot cards). As they all wanted to be in the same room at the same time for their readings Jacquelene made the one who had repeatedly talked negatively about the tarot cards in the car all the way to her office wait and watch the other readings in full.

Jacquelene even extended the length of time she took to do the first two readings so that all that could possibly be gleamed from their sessions was provided. She read for the first two ladies without any tarot cards or any other tools at all except her spirit guides, the angels, masters, and a passed over loved one that 'popped in', she even drew the aura of one of the ladies also reading from it, and told the other one about their past lives, she told both of them about their spirit guides. Jacquelene even refused to take extra money that these first two ladies offered her for the extra time she gave them, insisting repeatedly that in this case it was a distinct pleasure to do the readings. She said she felt strongly guided by spirit to give these two ladies the extra time as a gift (no cost) on this occasion, but did not know why, just that it should be done that way.

All three ladies commented positively the first saying she was 'blown away,' the second saying 'that was incredible' and the third lady -who had not been read yet- said "Wow, now I am REALLY glad I agreed to come here, can you do my reading too?"

So, the time had come to give a reading to the lady who had talked so badly - in an obsessive manner -about tarot cards all the 50 kilometre trip on the way towards Jacquelene's office for the appointment. Jacquelene sat opposite the lady, looking puzzled for a moment, She then sat eyes closed, very silent for quite some time before arising form her seat. Jacquelene - in complete silence took some time to bring out out about 20 sets of tarot cards, angel cards, runes, crystals, scrolls, aura soma mini colour sets, and even a crystal ball, placing all of them on the desk right in front of her client. Jacquelene proceeded to use the proliferation of tarot cards and other tools, as well as palmistry, Chinese and western astrology as guided by her angels. The appointment was completed 10 minutes early and when the lady said to keep the change, Jacquelene did so without question and to the apparent shock of that client. The third lady finally said that after seeing Jacquelene read the tarot cards in her own visionary method of "scrying" she felt she had learnt something positive that day and now had a new respect for people who use tarot cards. The old phrase "what you give out is what you get back" was especially relevant in this case.

It is our belief that all forms of divination and spiritual connection utilise "tools," techniques, aids or methods which are no more or less valid than each other, despite the trends of the time and what is popular. Over time different forms of divination becomes more or less popular in cycles. All techniques are tools. All techniques are aids. All techniques are tools used to aid in the provision of messages from spirit through to the client no matter the medium (technique, tool, or aid) that is used. Tools, techniques, and aids including connecting to spirits, angels, sprit guides, passed over loved ones are still for all intents and purposes, tools and techniques, because they all aid in the role of providing a method through which the psychic / medium / channel acts as an intermediary between the conscious- waking you, and the message that your soul and / or the spirits who guide you have asked for clarity about. You do not therefore ever really get drawn to the wrong person to give you the message, as no matter what the message was or how it was given, you have manifested the experience for a reason that is truly between you, your soul, and the spirits who guide you. The messenger therefore carries the message for you that you have asked on some level to hear.

The tools used for your reading unless specifically requesting a psychic art reading are determined during your reading by Jacquelene or Thomas as guided by the spirits and energies you and they work with. Sometimes you will be drawn to a psychic who has the right information for you, but presents it in their own way. With this in mind, avoid dictating to a psychic about how they should go about doing your reading, this is disrespectful, and demonstrates either an excessive use of psychics or an excessive desire for control over others.

Do you connect with passed over loved ones?
Yes, this is called mediumship. Having survived a near death experience by drowning at age 5, Jacquelene has a strong connection with her ancestors, and with the spirit world. However, Jacquelene takes this aspect very seriously however and does not 'conjure' the dead for entertainment purposes. Jacquelene does connect with passed over loved ones when, where, and how it is appropriate. Where a loved one is present at the time of your reading and where they have important unresolved business, Jacquelene will convey this message. Thomas works with guides and does pick up on and see spirits when they do appear, however neither of us will force a presence appear for entertainment. Yes, Jacquelene's psychic art hangs in over 1000 homes internationally. Jacquelene portrays and completes in depth readings from your angels, animal totems and guides, archetypes, auras, dreams, devic energies and geomantic energies, masters, past lives, spirit guides, talismans, and universal energies.

Her work has appeared on greeting cards, in magazines, and in murals. Jacquelene has painted a 2 metre tall x 9 metre long Mural for the Australian School of Meditation, Fitzroy, Victoria, and recently completed two 2 metre tall tarot Major Arcana tarot card paintings for The 2005 Melbourne International Tarot Conference. Jacquelene has at times been sought out by the families of missing pets and loved ones. However, this is not an area of specialization for us, we will do what we can, and will refer you on where or if necessary.

How long have you been reading?
Jacquelene has been reading since 5 years of age, and publicly as a professional since 1995. Thomas has been professionally reading since 2000.

Were you formally trained?
Yes, Jacquelene has had an interest and been studying numerous esoteric modalities since early childhood. As a child, Jacquelene also received part of her shamanic training from her grandfather who also taught her to read tea leaves. She later attended her aunt's psychic training group as an adult, amongst other schools and esoteric forms since childhood. She holds an R.M.I.T. Certificate of Supervision and Management, Instructional Techniques Certificate, and various 'in-company' business and corporate training qualifications. Jacquelene continues to work with guides and study in other areas to continually expand upon her skills.

I think I am psychic I think I could do what you do and be very successful at it, what do I do?

It is very flattering to think that we can at times be an inspiration to others, by making what we do look so easy to others that they feel they can do the same thing effortlessly. Most Olympic ice skaters and "so you think you can dance" competitors would probably empathise with that statement.

However, you cannot truly model your spiritual or psychic development upon someone else's toils towards their growing spirituality.

It is effortless to be your true self, while it takes an immense amount of energy to try to be anyone else...If trying to copy someone else you end up only being a poor imitation of something else and as a result, far less than your own personal best. If however you are exploring something that is natural to you, you will find you are led to the right places and people at the right times and in the right places much more than just once or twice.

People who are genuine and professional psychics or artists for that matter are people who have demonstrated a willingness to give up security in pursuit of passion and their spiritual path. If everyone on the Earth who had a spiritual epiphany suddenly decided that this also meant they had to start up their own tarot stall, all we would have is tarot readers, no one left to do tarot readings for and no one left in the industries such as accounting, management, hospitality etc to do those other jobs. Society would as a result collapse as no one would be left to run society's infrastructure, they'd all be sitting bored as farts on their own tarot stall doing nothing. We are great believers in their needing to be a variety of readers available for the different types of people wanting readings and healings etc, however as stated, If all the people who had spiritual epiphanies also left such vital industries there would be no one left to add positive energy to those industries, and the people left making the decisions in those industries would or could be quite heartless and clinical in their decisions, leaving us with society once again collapsing. Just as society would also collapse if spiritual people practising their life path and passions were not allowed to do so. While we are full time psychics, this explains why some psychics will work part time in their capacity as psychics while also holding down a full time or part time job elsewhere in many levels from receptionists to top level executives, even if only for some part of their lives. There is a balance to everything.

In over fifteen years of public, professional work in this field, Jacquelene has had literally more than a hundred unsolicited expressions of interest from people asking to work for her. While Jacquelene has not hired any of these people to work for her to date, she has worked in collaboration with a few of them.

Jacquelene to date has herself approached, hand picked and employed all of the three psychics she currently has working for her in her team.
These psychics are also available for readings, space clearings, and healing work as appropriate to their skills.

What do I do?
A true and genuine psychic will never tell you they are putting a curse on you, nor tell you that you will die young, nor harass you in any way.
A true and genuine psychic while seeking to provide a clearer perspective for you will also aim to leave you with some positives to draw from.

In our readings we have a policy of the first few minutes being obligation free. If you cannot relate to what we have given in that time you are free to walk away with no money paid or a refund of your credit card booking deposit as appropriate. We have not had to remove anyone on the basis of our inaccuracy, it's just a safeguard we like to have in place to make sure that everyone in the situation is equally empowered and able to exercise their free will and choice.

It is distressing to know that even a small proportion of non genuine people are offering "readings" without the proper training and ethics.
Such behaviour severely taints the experience for the client and the perception of readers in the community generally.

Genuine psychics help the vulnerable to empower themselves, while non genuine people help themselves to the vulnerable and seek to keep them in disempowered.

Psychics who are professional members of the Australian Psychic Association ascribe to a code of ethics that clearly does not tolerate these kind of negative or invasive behaviours. There is also the Tarot Guild of Australia that may be another source of ethical readers.

If someone you have seen for a reading has acted in a highly unprofessional manner such as described, please make your complaint to the publication and/or establishment you found them in. If you feel you have been harassed by such a person within or outside of the appointment, please report this matter to the police urgently.

Often people representing a non-genuine person posing as a psychic will say they do not need "all of that" because "they are too busy and so popular without it." Genuine and professional psychics while very busy will have taken the time to make a point of being direct and open about presenting who they are and what they stand for in some form. They will do this to provide accessible and the opportunity for informed choice. They will fit you in when and how they can, and sometimes this will be the same day, or it could be as far away as some weeks or months depending on their other bookings and other projects they may be committed to. A genuine psychic that feels they cannot presently or do not wish to connect with you at this time are within their rights, and will either not take your appointment booking in the first place, or will apologise on arrival and politely ask you to leave.

It is a good idea to when choosing a psychic make sure that you feel comfortable with them and it is also usually a good sign if many others (not just one other person) you know provides positive reference or feedback about them.

A side note:- People seeking to charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars to remove supposed curses are also not genuine. We advise you to avoid all contact with such people.
We do help those who feel they have been cursed or who feel they are under attack, however this is done from the perspective of empowering the client and from a point of reasonable fees charged for time or materials given as we would normally do for any other reading or healing appointment.
