The Aura
is the electromagnetic field surrounding the body, and all living
things. There are just as many names to describe this phenomena as there
are languages that contain it in their dictionaries.
Often referred to in western countries as being the 'Halo' the Aura
surrounds the whole body, not just the head as in religious visual arts
depictions. Particularly spiritually attuned people will tend to have a
strong halo effect around the head, being a golden or white light light
around their head, however we all have an aura of some colour and
description whilst alive. Below is a list of colours and their meanings
as well as some aura photos as examples.

designed to detect and depict the human energy field.
Meanings
of colours in Aura
Balls of
light in aura:
These can
be particularly open chakras, or even guiding or angelic presences.
Balls of
darkness in aura:
Anger, injury, or entities bound up in aura. Past experience not yet
released.
Red:
Base
Chakra, earthy, grounding, alive, vital, anger, passion, issues of
material wealth, physical activity.
Orange:
Sacral
Chakra, creativity, reproductive system, enjoyment, sexuality.
Yellow:
Solar
Plexus, joy, study, learning, issues of mental clarity, power, fear,
judgement, caring, warmth.
Green:
Heart,
balance, healing, growth, compassion, love, the space to think clearly.
Blue:
Throat,
communication, peace, "the blues," self expression, self judgement,
hearing.
Indigo/Purples:
Third
eye, spirituality, visions, guidance, transformation, grief, validation
or invalidation.
White:
Crown
chakra, I am, connectedness, light and shadow.
Magenta/Fushia:Healing,
connection with higher planes.
Pink:
Love...The giving or the taking. A person may have a lot of pink in the
aura and not necessarily be walking their talk. Can at times represent a
passive aggressive person.Other times it can be simply a loving person,
it is a matter of how much and where the pink is in the aura.
Black:
The
pillar of form, saturn, earth, dormancy, structure, disease or deep
depression. Can present in the aura as a blockage, injury, entities, or
can seem as a crack in the aura- but having a cracked or broken aura is
not actually possible or you would be dead. If a black spot of hole
appears in the aura you are probably only looking at one layer of the
aura. of which many layers exist.. Here's another analogy, a "black hole" into which
things go in but do not come out...
Brown:
Tobacco
smoke affecting aura, disease, deeply held grudges.
Grey:
Often
associated with disease, morality issues, and deep sadness. A grey,
spotted haze. Shapes:
Shapes in the aura can relate to spirits and etheric beings,
as well as attitudes and emotions being experienced by the person whose aura you
are observing. A hook shape in the aura is quite manipulative, an aura that is
lop sided will relate to them not being quite "in the body" or balanced about an
issue or may be experiencing physiological imbalances.
